Yahua Lighting Introduces Solar Street Light Solution For Rural Roads
Jan 28, 2026
The solution is designed for rural electrification and road lighting projects in Africa, Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and Belt and Road regions, where grid access is limited and installation speed is critical.
The solar street light is available in 30W–60W equivalent performance levels. The luminaires are built to IP65 weatherproof standards and utilize Philips/Lumileds LED chips for consistent performance and long lifespan, backed by a 5-year product warranty.
Advantages:
Off-Grid Design, Lower Infrastructure Cost
Fully independent of the power grid, eliminating underground cabling, transformers, and distribution cabinets. This reduces initial investment, shortens installation time, and lowers long-term operation and maintenance costs for rural and remote projects.
Reliable Performance for Rural Conditions
Intelligent control with scheduled operation or motion-based dimming optimizes energy use while maintaining road safety. High-capacity LiFePO₄ batteries ensure stable lighting for up to 5 consecutive rainy days, even in unstable weather.
Flexible Configuration for Different Road Projects
Multiple wattage options, pole heights, and light distribution patterns support installation heights of approximately 5–10 m, allowing engineers to select the most suitable solution for specific road widths and project requirements.
Typical project scenarios: Solar Street Light Project in a Coastal Village, Lingayen Gulf, Philippines
