Mar 31, 2025
This guide will show you how to install a solar floodlight with a step-by-step installation process, important setup tips, and remote control functions, helping you get the most out of your solar floodlight. Plus, we'll cover camera connectivity for models with built-in Wi-Fi surveillance. Let's get started!
Unlike traditional lighting, solar floodlights require no wiring or electricity, making them easy to install and energy-efficient. Whether you're enhancing security, illuminating pathways, or brightening up your backyard, a well-installed solar floodlight ensures optimal performance and longevity.
Solar Floodlight Installation
To properly install a solar floodlight, ensure the waterproof connector is securely attached, then place the solar panel facing direct sunlight. Once correctly positioned, the light should automatically turn off, and the charging indicator (see diagram below) will flash regularly, indicating that the solar panel is charging the batteries properly.
Fix the product on the wall with supplied wall bolts. The installation height is suggested to be between 3-6 meters.
To ensure optimal performance, install the solar panel at the correct angle for your location and in the appropriate direction for your hemisphere. Make sure it receives direct sunlight without obstruction from trees, buildings, or shadows, as any blockage can reduce charging efficiency.
Tips:
1. Position the solar panel 5–10 degrees south to west, with a 35-degree tilt relative to the horizontal surface.
2. Secure the panel firmly to a stable structure to prevent movement or damage from wind.
3. Use the provided remote control to adjust brightness and set the desired lighting duration. (Note: Some reserved keys on the remote are for other models.)
Remote Controller Instructions
Light-operated Mode
Once the waterproof wiring connector is securely connected and tightened, press the [AUTO] key. The light will automatically turn on at dusk and turn off at sunrise to begin charging.

Important Notification
1. Do not connect 220 V AC to this unit, as it may damage the lamp and pose a risk of electric shock or injury.
2. Ensure the installation is securely fixed to a stable surface to prevent it from falling and causing harm.
3. Disassembling the lamp, solar panel, or any of its components will immediately void the warranty.
4. Regular cleaning of the solar panel is essential. Remove dust, debris, and bird droppings to maintain optimal charging efficiency.
Camera Overview
This Wi-Fi camera (selectable) is integrated into the solar lamp, operating wire-free with power from the solar panel. During the daytime, the panel absorbs sunlight, converts it into electricity, and stores it in the battery. Equipped with a 1440P HD chip and lens, the camera delivers high-definition video and images.
